i NEED a white button down.  it’s absolutely necessary.  a while back i made a list of all the basics, essentials, and necessities of a woman’s wardrobe so that way i could stop getting all shop-happy and buy things i’m only going to wear/like for a couple of times.  but i’ve found that it has made me terribly picky when it comes to getting things.  maybe i should be thankful for that?  who knows.

anyway, the button down.  i don’t know why i didn’t get it earlier because i’m finding that i’m struggling to survive without it.  check out this little gem:

doesn’t it just look so soft and floaty?  and i really just adore the tuxedo style.  price?  $80.  i just can’t bring myself to do it yet.  i mean, i know what it means to make an investment, but i’m… eh…  jobless?  so i guess i need to scrimp and save for when i REALLY need it.  but it just calls to me…  “i’d look so good under a marled sweater…  wear me to bed…  over a dress as a light jacket… belted…”

it’s just too much to handle.  i need more turkey.  or something.
